How To Invoke Click Event From Javascript?

Below is my asp(HTML) code &RS=<%=RecordStart%>;'' href='#'&g

Solution 1:

This is a simplified version of a function I wrote for a similar question. You can find a list of the arguments to initMouseEvent in the Mozilla Developer Center documentation but you shouldn't need to change anything.

function clickLink(link) {
    if (document.createEvent) {
        var event = document.createEvent("MouseEvents");
        event.initMouseEvent("click", true, true, window,
            0, 0, 0, 0, 0,
            false, false, false, false,
            0, null);
        link.dispatchEvent(event);
    }
    else if (link.fireEvent) {
       link.fireEvent("onclick");
    }
}
